I hit a a small jackpot when I found these sulfur shelf shrooms yesterday. They were new enough that the whole mushroom was soft and edible, not just the outer edge like I sometimes find them. I almost like these more than morels. I thinks it's becasue they don't get "mushy" when they are cooked, and the great flavor they have. I chopped 'em up, froze some, and sauteed some in butter, salt and pepper for supper.
