Hunted til 11:30 A.M. Had one blow at me going in. Rained the entire time in 4B. Opted for the ground blind. Seen one doe too far out, stayed nice and dry

. Seen two more doe after I was in the truck exiting the farm.
Taking the better half to Giant Center to see Carrie Underwood. Season just started--plenty of time left to hunt.

Spent the mourning sitting in the rain and seeing Nothing.... walked to my wife's groundblind to check on her, and smelled Perfume? leaned over and smelled her hair...... OMG she wore HAIRSPRAY! and with our stands being only about 100yards apart with a tall goldenrod field between us.. No wonder I didn't see anything.... LOL

Hunted till 11am then back out at 3 till dark in the fog/rain.
Only to open the cabin door at 7am this morning to 4 does grazing away 50ft from the porch. One was walking even closer.
