I found a flintlock I want to get on a website. Would they be able to send it right to me or would it have to go to a dealer first.

blackpowder is right, you do not need a FFL to buy/sell antique firearms which is what a flintlock is classified as, even if new. The website you are buying it from should know this as well.

Although I have seen some dealers that would only ship to FFL. Why? Who knows.

New Jersey, Illinois, DC and NYC require going through an FFL.

I bought a lyman a few years ago and they shipped it directly to me. I did have to sign for it from fedex when it was delivered.
