I noticed over the weekend that the Red Oak trees in the bottom of our valley in Lycoming co. seemed to have been hit by a frost or something.. It looks like they started to leaf out, but all of the leaves have turned brown, and new buds are forming again. The trees on top of the mountain seem to be fine. Will they still have acorns?

I saw the same thing a week ago on my property in Armstrong Co. The trees should grow leaves again but I think you can forget about any acorns this year in the low spots.
