So I live about 3 minutes inside the PA border, and always have.

I have a PA LTCF.

I work in NY 70% of the time and also my bowshop is there, so i spend lots of time in NY.

I want a NY permit badly. Some say its possible and some say its not. I have NO criminal record, and am an established citizen with house, wife, son, career, etc. What do I have to do? Its very valuable to me and I will spend whatever it takes. I just need to know where to start?

Thanks for any info!

New York doesn't issue to non-residents. The only way a non-resident can get a NY permit is to own a business there. ...and then, the permit is usually a restricted version for premises/business/target - meaning, you cannot carry the gun outside of those places.

NY permits generally cost $500 or more.

Oh, and to merely TOUCH a handgun in NY you must have a NY permit. And permits issued outside of NYC are not valid within NYC.

So in short - you aren't going to get one.
