Morning! Eating breakfast and getting the wife and kiddos out of the house then to a different stand then yesterday. It's very close to the road but had some really great sign and lots of nuts. May have to move if nothing is happening. Good luck guys.

Tried to enter under the cover of daylight today lol. I've been having so much trouble bounding deer pre dawn. Every morning it's happening and herds. Figured I'd just come in way later. Worked a little. I think I only spooked 1 when I stepped into my stand. Doe. Of course it had to be when i was getting in so I showed that deer my hand big-time. Very uncomfortable coming in at that time though. Feel so exposed. Gonna wait it out a few hours here. Not real optimistic to be honest. I am eternally patient though so they can't beat me there. If there is one thing I'm good at its waiting for mistakes.

Pretty good day yesterday. I saw 4 bucks. Passed a 6 point at 15 yards. Just before dark last night 2 were chasing. My brother is in that stand this morning, so I might have to track a dead 6 point here soon!

Little breezy. Only a turkey so far this morning!

7:30 dentist app. this morning. About hit a monster 10 point crossing Rt.42 between Millville and Buckhorn. Made me want to turn around and go hunting. Should be in stand by10:00.. Everyone be safe and good luck today.

Have a few shooters on camera here...night time field edge... I'm 50yds back on a small point..a small ditch in front and behind and a creek bottom just down from me...

Plenty of does living here.. oaks, corn, water and thick...hard to ask for more....

Historically a big boy moves in here this time every year...


One slowly slipped out of the big ditch as I setup.. looked like a young buck judging by body...

Doctor appointment later today so I decided to take the day off. In past years the 7th and 8th have been good in this aera. Almost hit a buck driving this morning, heard a deer before light and nothing but turkey off in the distance since first light. Good luck everyone, for whatever reason I feel like I am wasting a vacation day... Just seems dead.

Bumped 3 getting into my stand this morning not sure of. What they were just saw tails as it was still dark !
Only hunting until noon today because i have to vote (very first time in my life) and then I have a meeting at work !

Just drilled one on public land in 5b. First deer I saw. I grunted him into about 10 yards. I can see the arrow and good blood. Pretty sure I heard him crash. Trying to calm down enough to safely climb down.

Took the morning off. Overall its been the slowest season. Nothing going on this morning. I passed on a buck Saturday. Probably shouldn't have. Gl guys be back in for evening hunt

Congrats. Temps warming up quick in 3D. Debating on whether I should sit all day thenvote or go vote midday and come back. Guess it depends not the deer. Nothing yet.

After another train wreck trying to get the kids out of the house and the low tire pressure light kicking on this morning, I finally got setup about 745ish. New spot today. I really like it. I am positioned in a strip of white oaks and beech trees between two thickets and some open woods. Tons of trails through here. Hope to see something but nothing moving yet.
