Anyone use a Nikon Slughunter Scope, how accurate are they? I know each gun/bullet combo will be different, but are the circles close for the distances or did you have to experiment and find what yardage they actually were on? I'm thinking of a 12 gauge mossberg 500 with a fully rifle barrel and hope to use Federal Premium Barnes Expander Tipped Slugs if they shoot decent out of the gun.

Unless you are going to spend a lot of time at the range to learn to use it effectively...you are far better off spending the money on better optics than an otherwise gimmicky reticle.

Good scope works as described sight it in at 50 the reticles are on at least with 2 3/4 lightfield hybrids out of a Savage 210 there's no time inolved other than sighting the gun in and leaving it at 9 power, when you change the power it effects the accuracy of the circles not the middle crosshair. If you use other loads I don't know but out to 200 yards it's deadly using this combo.
