Of course there are no really nice public land bucks in PA, right? Well here is one exception. He was taken about half a mile from where I was sitting the first day. I saw him several times during archery season but did not get a shot. Oh well. The guy who got him really appreciates him.

I have never even seen one that big in the PA woods. Very impressive. And, hopefully a sign of things to come!

We had snow at our camp during the first week as I remember. Our camp is at 1949 ft in elevation. I'm not sure what day this guy was taken, but I don't believe it was the first day.

Great buck. It's nice to see that Pa. can produce the big boys too. It has been happening a lot more these days. Wonder Why?????

Beauty! Thanks for sharing Mutt. There certainly are some real nice bucks on public lands - quality is up while quantity is way down.
