The Wee Man and I went leek digging today and decided to walk thrugh a freshly disked field. We did a quick walk along the edge then just cut back through the middle of the field to ge back to the truck. We were about 20 yards from the truck when I stumbled on a perfect bird point. The Wee Man was excited and commandeered it from me. I'll post a pic as soon as possible.

After showing it to my buddy who relic hunts pretty much full time, and after some research on my own, I believe this is what is known as a LeCroy point and it dates from between 8500bc to 5500bc. So cool to find out it could be as much as 10,000 years old.
