Is there a place to learn the rules and reg. other than the book they gave me . I'm not a lawyer and don't know one.

One tip, never call it a CCW permit, in PA it is called a 'license to carry firearms' and they will get on your case for saying concealed carry permit!

just curious, but why is a big deal? i do not own a hand gun YET, but hoping to soon and am just wondering

The above form is very good. But like everything on the net, double-check everything. As to why they make such a big deal over calling a LTCF a CCWP. Just like some of the other specialty forms. They try very hard to keep all the information correct. And slang terms add to confusion. Cast Boolit is another site if you use a slang term for a method or tool, someone will set you straight right away. Don’t get me wrong there are a lot of great guys on both sites.
