I'd take him. That's the kind you eat. I shot a 9 1/2 year old bull one time and it was shoeleather. And you can't tell how old a Cow is. You can shoot a Cow and it could turn out to be 12 years old! Luckily my Cow was 4 1/2.
And I don't want a Calf because there's not enough meat. A 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 yo Bull is perfect for the freezer! I should come hunt with you guys!

Congrats to that young man but he was very lucky! That was very poor shot selection on such a large animal. Ouartering on presents shoulder and front leg, you hit these big bones and you have a wounded animal. Like I said lucky shot but you still have a freezer full of meat.

I don't know. The older I get the more marbling I have.
