I lost my old release and bought a Truglo with BOA rather than a buckle or Velcro strap. I’ve used a buckle for several years and liked it. The man at the shop talked me in to the BOA. Anyone use one with this? I just talked to a buddy who said with a buckle, you know the length of the strap and release was always consistent and there is room for possible variations with this and therefore there is a chance to be less accurate. Any truth to this? Let me know the good and bad of this new release before I open it. If it’s bad, it may get returned. Thanks!

I forget what it stands for but rather than a buckle, you twist a knob to tighten the release to your wrist.

It’s a bit loud when you tighten it so I didn’t want it making that kind of noise when I’m hunting, so I exchanged it. I like the idea, but not how loud it is.
