Have a 20ga O/U. Nothing too fancy but wanted another short 20 for brush work. Was looking for an old Remington 870 Special Field. Found one or two but were way overpriced. Saw this Browning BPS (new) for under $500.00 delivered and had it sent to my FFL. WHAT A NICE GUN FOR THE MONEY.

Shot it today with 7 1/2s and 2 types of buck. It handles fast, cycles well and the tang safety can't be beat. Have stopped looking for a 870 Special Field. Anybody looking for a reasonably priced bunny/bird gun could do worse.

They also make this in a 16 ga., in the Upland configuration.

I've had a 12 ga. Special Field since it came out in '84, love it for upland work; but this BPS is nice.

Good luck with it.

Browning BPS's are nice guns! They seem to weigh a bit more than compared to Remingtons and Mossberg though. BPS's have a bottom eject system to them, very nice, which makes it nice for lefthanders and resell late.
