For any youths 12-16 interested, the nepa chapter 803 of
Pheasants Forever are having a youth pheasant hunt on
October 9, 2010 on SGL 119. To sign up go to http://www.nepapf.org
and fill out the application and consent forms and send
them to the address on the application. If you have any
questions please contact me through a PM on this site.

*We can only take 40 kids on a first come first serve basis
so please sign up soon if interested, thanks.

Thanks treerat, I hope your son has a great time at the
hunt! We still have some openings for youth hunters if
anyone else is interested in signing up.

You Guys and Gal's put on a great hunt. The Guy's that had the dogs were also great. Lil Sniper can't wait till next year. But I think I will bring my waders just incase he puts another one in the Pond.Good that the Lab was there or he might of went swimming.Thanks Again.

Corey- Cooper and I had a great time -( he kicked up two birds) and none of them sit tight, we worked for em. Not bad for 10 months old I guess. Thank you for having us!

Corey, Thanks for a great day, the youth that I bought up bag one heck of a Cock-bird, we're of to the Taxidermist tomorrow. Plenty of birds, awesome dog work, (Thanks to all those who did the dog handling as well!)great weather and food.Who could ask for anything else. Again Thank You!

Here is my son's 1st Rooster

Here is another pic of my son on the right and the other young man we shot with along with our guide. Both boys also got hen that fell into the pond they shot them over. Had another dog and his trainer get for us. This was a great hunt and we will be back next year.

Sorry if I forgot anyone.

You gentlemen are the shinning example of what true 'Sportsmen" are.Giving of yourself and dogs and time and effort to insure some one else has the chance to do what we love.Thanks again for all your hard work.

Marissa will have some photos up in a day or 2.She was one following everyone and taking photos at the sign along with my wife who was also your bird cleaner for the day

Just looked back.It was custom reloading who had the pup.Thanks again we certainly appreciate all of our volunteers time and hard work they do that makes this event the huge success it is.Take care,Paul...

Jackson basically covered it but I would like to add to it.
Thanks to all the volunteers, your help was much appreciated
both by us in chapter 803 and the kids you helped that day!
I am glad you all had a great time and hope you can make it
again next year!

Nice pics, I remember that kid (kyle) his gun is as big as
him but he is a good shoot with it, glad he got a ringneck!

Browningfan, If I am not mistaken I believe the youth that
you brought hunted with my dad and our dog Rusty, glad to
hear he did a good job for you and you guys got to bag a
big rooster! Thanks for coming and helping out!

This was my first time running the youth hunt and was so
worried about doing a good job that I forgot to take pics.
Luckily Jackson has a great family that help out in many
ways with pics, bird cleaning, and of course guiding with
his bird dogs. Paul, you were a big help and as always as
good of a friend and sportsman any of us can have, thanks
for everything man!!
