Sheer stupidity, placing the question of milsurp Garands and M1 Carbines, in the hands of those who are clueless and worse, are obviously opposed to the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
Also consider this: CMP has now exhausted its supply of M1 Carbines, which are collectible historical arms and lots of fun to shoot.
Their exhausted stash, consisted of rifles previously given to several South American countries, Greece, Italy and many that were issued to assorted police agencies in post war West Germany (best of the lot, btw).
Why do those rifles given to Korea, need to be treated differently than the rifles distributed by CMP previously?
Answer: Because we now have an administration primarily composed of anti-gun knuckleheads.
