An Impala Ram was also an animal that was on both mine and my grandfathers list of trophies. All of my postings have been in order of harvest, however this mount is unique in that it is the horns from my grandfathers impala and the cape from mine. We both took good impala, however his was considerably older and had some damage to the cape. Pictured below, my grandfather on the left with our PH Owen Smith and his impala taken on day two in the eastern cape, my impala ram taken on day three and the shoulder mount.

I'm a little surprised this post popped back up now. I got tied up last August building a patio at the house which rolled into hunting season. I will try to continue these posts this weekend.
