never weighed on but had a few that would not fit on a muskrat stretcher and had to us a possum stretcher for them.

whats a muskrat?

I caught Ratzilla Jr one year. Ratzilla Sr was by someone else, but same locale. Ratzilla Sr almost 5 pounds. I still have him frozen whole, maybe I should stop by the deer butcher and put him on their scale, though there's probably some freezer burn by now. I think nose to the end of the fur at the tail he is 17", and at least 15" around. One day he and a black 'rat will be swimming away from my "5 lb mink".

The one I caught yesterday weighed 3 lbs 8.5 oz. It was 22.5" long nose to end of tail, 12.5" nose to base of tail.

Since it's the first one I've caught in decades, I'm going to call it my biggest "recent" catch.
