The Golden Chanterelle: Notice they are on the forest floor not on wood....If they are on stumps and or wood they could be the Poison Jack O Lantern...!!!!!!!!
Once you see a Jack O lantern and see a Chanterelle they look different.. JOL have gills like a regular mushroom....
thanks for the picts i noticed the chantrells have no crown otherwise they could be mistaken for what we call the early papinkis they come up yelloe sometimes in my area of dallas pa
