I was hoping someone may be able to help me out for something I'm trying to do for my little cousin. Seeing as his dad is a helicopter pilot for the marines and stationed in Hawaii I hardly ever get to see him. A few weeks ago his Grandmother (my godmother) passed away and they came back home for a few weeks where we had a brief chance to spend a lot of time together. Seeing as how he always talks about hunting but never having a chance to go I surprised the two of them with a chance to go to a local game farm for some pheasants and chukars. He was like a kid on Christmas the whole day and was beside himself when he shot his first bird. Actually it was his first animal he's ever taken. He didn't stop talking about it the rest of his time here. I know my cousin Shayne said they'd like to move back home someday but thought the kids would really be bummed about leaving Hawaii. After that hunt my little cousin looked at Shayne and said "Dad, this was awesome, do we really have to wait to move back here"? It was one of the coolest days hunting I've ever had as my time with them is few and far between. What I'd like to do is find a mounted chukar somewhere that I could buy and send out to him as I think it would make his day, give him something really cool to show his friends and remind him of that hunt for a long time. I thought I'd post on here as I know some taxidermists sometimes have items that customers don't pick up or may know where to point me to get me going in the right direction. Sorry for the long story but I'm still really excited about it.
