I do like the 35 Rem... This family has harvested many deer now with a Marlin Model 336 35 Rem.. It loves that leverlution 200 grain ammo.. But the deer don't love it.. I have decided to use my Model 14 Rem pump...Now she is actually one of the new ones that is old.. I traced the S/N and she was near mfg at the end of the Model 14 mfg cycle in the 30's. Do you people that have the Rem 14 in the 35 Rem use Leverlution Ammo in them or do you use the Remington 35 Ammo or factory ammo equal too?

I haven't gotten a deer with mine yet, but I refuse to use the Hornady ammo in it. The groupings were horrid at 100yds. I played with it when ammo was short, so I ended up reloading for it. Reloads with 200gr round nose will stay about the size of a softball at 100yds if I do my part. Others will have to speak to the effectiveness on an animal. Of course I see 35Rem all over the place, now that I have 200 rounds of brass and all the accouterments to reload.
