I have a Model 12 12 guage Trap model that I call in good condition. According to my only gun value book, it was made in 1958 and is worth around $550,but my book is 17 years old.Can I assume it's worth quite a bit more or is this not the case? Anyone know anything about the value of this particular shotgun? Thanks

The value of the modeel 12's has actually gone down from what I've seen. My uncle just bougt one in perfect conditon for $350 in 12ga. The sub gagues are worth more if you have a 28 or 20.

Run of the mill M12's may go for less in outlying areas, but for a "trap" version with the better grade stock, checkering, factory vent-rib, etc., I'll wager a guess that you are talking considerably more money today over 1958's value.
