Wow what makes those gun/accessories and more lethal than the others.

Perhaps I would have been a more efficient hunter if I had been using a thumb hole stock, pistol grip etc.etc...?

It's the same old story. 3% of all gun crimes are committed with RIFLES OF ANY KIND, yet that is the target of all gun control measure. Hence, it has nothing to do with preventing crime or violence.

What is it about? You fill in the blank. I think it is to disarm tax payers so we then become subjects to the crown. It happened many years ago which brought about the American Revolution. Will it happen again? We'll see.

New MO proposed gun laws could make 880,000 citizen criminals over night and require 90 days in prison. The total prison population in MO currently is around 31,000 inmates. Hey they might surpass CA which was more prisoners than 25 other states combined and spends 11% off their budget on prisons.

there not saying much about just trying to take the guns off the criminals with records, just the law abiding citizen. Maybe big O should be asked to go after the guns from criminals first.

If you use the FBI crime statistics that show that is correct..the anti anygunners will tell you that you're cherry picking data.

So does a wood stock count as a shroud that partially encircles the barrel?

Missouri Democrats Introduce Legislation to Confiscate Firearms – Gives Gun Owners 90 Days to Turn in Weapons

Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals. They will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed.

Dana Loesch Radio reported on the new legislation being pushed by Missouri Democrats:

Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution.

Here’s part of the Democratic proposal in Missouri:

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:

(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or

(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.

5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

Anyone remember NJ Governor Florio in 1990-1991 banned all kinds of "assault rifles"?

The ban required owners of these sorts of guns to
a) turn them in to police to be destroyed
b) certified to have been permanently disabled
c) register them via a lengthy and costly process.

The NJ State Police estimated between 100,000 and 300,000 of these guns to be in NJ.

The fine for non-compliance after a cutoff date was 5 years in prison.

A few weeks after the cutoff date, they had recorded less than 2,000 gun owners bringing their firearms in for compliance as of the deadline. After that every owner of one of these guns, potentially hundreds of thousands of people, were criminals and each one to be locked up for 5 years.....

What ever happened to the rest of those guns?

And the Mo political gun war goes on....

H.B. 633, proposed by Mike Leara, a St. Louis County Republican, would make it a felony punishable with up to four years in prison for anyone who "proposes a piece of legislation that further restricts the right of an individual to bear arms, as set forth under the second amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
