I have a mission 360 MXB and am shooting 22 inch 300 g bolts. The issue is for hunting I am limited to something like a Rage or other narrow mechanical. This is due to the design of the pocket where the broadheads rests. It is narrow.
My question is could I go to a longer, say 23 inch bolt, keep the same weight and not lose much speed? This would clear the pocket and give me more options for broadheads use.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

You could go longer or just spin your inserts to align the blades where you want them. I have the MXB 400 so I know where you are coming from. Clean Shot Archery has a nice insert called the Lock N Load. No glue required and you can easily spin it to get blade clearance.

I have the same issue. I went with a 24" Victory Archery voodoo bolts. They have a smaller diameter more like a carbon arrow so they are close to the same weight as the 22" bolts and I have just enough room to fit a fix blade. Plus a longer bolt should be more accurate.
