Plan on fishing the middle Allegheny this weekend around Tidioute area.

This will be the first time on the river (for fishing) in a few years, could anyone give some recommendations for lures that are working this time of year?

Not looking for any secret spots... just some productive baits and/or tactics (likely smallies but would love to try for some eyes also).

Pumpkin seed craws and scatter raps did well.

large lipless crank (1/2 oz +) baits can work well in the deep(4-6 ft) fast water riffles between pools and islands this time of year… both eyes and smallies will take them… IMO the key this time of year is to get and stay on the bottom in deeper flowing water
