Have any of you used Mayo for bait or used it as a base? I just acquired 5 gallons, that I won't eat, that I thought might be good to use as a base for some bait. It's high in egg content so...... Any thoughts?

Seems to me it would be too messy, and lacks any scent to use as any type lure, and I can't see mixing it with any thing like dog or cat food. Na, not for me.

It was free so the cost is no issue. I am going to try the controlled taint also to see if changes state or just begins to liquify. I thought if nothing else it might be a good base. Can't pass up free, I don't typically eat mayo but the first that crossed my mind was trapping.
