New to you gun.Take it apart, clean it,lubricate it and reassemble it.Load it and attempt to cycle a round quickly like when hunting without looking for something bad.You may be cycling it too slow if you are watching the cycle of the loading process or it may be dirty.

Sometimes the problem may be with the clip or detachable magazine. Even though the cartridge seems to exit the clip properly, a little damage could swing the back of the cartridge in one direction causing the front to move in the opposite direction and cause an alignment issue when chambering.
