Checked and was pulling this part of my line this morning and found tracks from the luckiest fox walking. He worked a dirt hole first and stepped inside the jaws of a #2 Bridger and just missed the pan. My fault I did'nt put a stone out front for guiding after I dug it out of the snow. Then he went into the swamp about 100 feet away and this is what I found. I had a 9" loop instead of 7" because I had seen coyote tracks also on the trail in the last snow. Had to laugh!! He'll be there for next season. Did pic up # 33 up the valley farther so I wasn't to upset.
No he was walking on top of the crust and only popped through occasionaly. Looking down on top of the cable you could see where both feet came down in the hole just past the cable. He walked on top up to it and went through the crust after jumping.
