Hello Fellas,
I'm new here so you might not know the name.
Hope you don't mind me chiming in.
I've got to say that I did a lot of research before buying my 9mm sidearm. I don't carry it much but that's because I don't like to wear "Bulky" clothes so I carry a smaller gun in 380acp most of the time. I also don't like spending a ton of money when great quality and value is available for a lesser price.
My choice was and still is the Stoeger Cougar 8000.
For those not familiar I'll give a brief rundown.
Beretta used to make this gun some years ago. Sold for about $800.00 in the 90's. Discontinued awhile back. Beretta now owns the Stoeger company. They shipped all of the manufacturing equipment and supervisors for this gun from Italy to Turkey, produce it there now and sell it for half the price as a Stoeger. The only difference from Beretta to Stoeger is the logo on the grips.
They currently have available in 40sw and 9mm. I've had mine for about a year and love it. It feels great in the hand, shoots great and never fails. Comes with two 15 round mags and sells for around $400.00. I shoot at least a box or two every week and just can't tell you how much I like the pistol.
A great leather holster for this guns is available at "Ray's Holsters". It's called the "Shado" and is only $35.00.
All of this said......
There are many great pistols to be had at many price points.
I just think this one is worth a good look if your in the market.
Thanks and Cya,
