Has a broken foot or leg. Doesn't seem to be negatively affecting his ability to thrive. I tried posting the video but mp4 isnt allowed. Hope he is still around come Fall.

Nice sized bear, Now you know what to use in bear season to bring it into you .

That’s a good bear. Funny, this is the first year in many that I have not run into a bear while turkey hunting. Sometimes it’s multiple in a season.
bet that one doesn't get thrown over the shoulder to take out to the truck
...many years ago, hunting on SGL in Bradford county, a buddy and I had a large black bear come down the mountain and walk right through the middle of our decoys...scared the S out of us to be honest!!

Funny, Ive never run into a bear hunting turkey. This year Ive run into 2 cubs up a tree and this monster. Btw, this is in the Lackawanna/Susquehanna County line. Not known for a large bear population but we do have some. Not usually in the 400lb range though.
