also check out JAS Townsend. I bought a hat and shirt from them a month or so ago. How strict are the people at some of these shoots? I have almost everything together, but I think the shoes/boots will be the last thing I will get, and that might be a little while

I have a 18th cent work shirt, voyeger knit cap, and a wool coat with a caped shoulder. I just talked to Barb at Yesteryer and I will be going up to her shop on mon to see about a pair of trousers, it is like 10-15 min from my house. I know that they were not worn until the late 18th cent, but I that they are more practial than breeches. shoes I am not really that worried about just yet. Bunky I have seen yours and they are not a bad price, are they warm at all?

yesterday I talked to Barb from Yesteryer on the phone. Like GBJ said she is a very nice lady, I was probably on the phone with her for a half hour and I was just calling to see when she was open. I am heading to her shop on monday

yeasterday I went to Yesteryer and ordered a pair of trousers. yeah I know they didn't come into common wear until 1790ish but for hunting I wanted long pants. Will get a pair of breeches in the future. I have probably drivin past her shop 100 times and didn't realize what it was!! Like I said befoe SUPER nice lady, she will be at the 18th century event in Lewisburg on Feb 5th and 6th

yeah but the socks down keep the brush away like canvas will. that and boots are absolutely the last thing on my list. I can wear my current huntin boots with the trousers with out looking that bad

yup you are right. I will get a pair of breeches next. Yesteryer is only 10 miles or so from my house.

Ft Fredrick is penciled in on the calender, but will be dependent on the new job and where I am living at the time. I will be reloacating to State College area in the next 6 months
