If you read the details they are only flying at 1000 fps, that's substantially less energy per pellet beyond 40 yards and less penetration per pellet, I'd imagine they'll shoot the best patterns ever out of a 20 ga...we'll see !!

I think they will pattern at least as good or better than any shell because of the concept, but you got shoot them on paper, they are only going to be in 5 & 6 shot at least at first...so you'll have far less pellets than with 7 shot as long as you keep that in mind when you see less holes than straight 7 shot ... One thing is for sure they will be far far cheaper than the he hevi shot versions, they are coming 10 packs and should be in $15-18 dollars range hopefully. Time will yell, hopefully they show up shortly so people can give them a good honest testing...I think I read an ounce and a quarter which is more than enough...

I tried the 12ga. 6 shot thru 3 different chokes..

They were very inconsistent thru all 3, so I'll continue to shoot my Nitro's...

Clean barrel, dirty barrel didn't seem to make a bit of difference....

Some guys had very good patterns with them.....I was to be frank, quite disappointed..

At 1000 fps, they should pattern like a monster. But, DANG............that is SLOOOOOOOOW for lead !!!

I am certainly gonna run a few on to paper. But that velocity.............. almost a deal breaker from the get go.

The Federal Heavy 7's are just freak nasty outta my 20. And they are priced a happy medium between shooting lead and TSS.

If they beat the federal heavy 7 out of my twenty they will get the nod! I killed a bird 2 years ago at 45 yards with the federals.
They may beat them with numbers on paper, but they won't even come close to having the energy.

I'd rather kill turkeys than paper so I'll stick with Heavyweights.

Agreèd, they'll probably pattern great. And at that low velocity, if they do post great patterns, that's going to lead to wounded birds with low energy pellets and long shots. Nothing out there can compare with hevi weight in a factory loading for down range energy, especially in a 20ga. Lead a low velocity isn't something I'm interested in, no matter how good the pattern is. I also shot a ton of the longbeards through several 12ga guns. I experienced a great deal of inconsistency. One pattern would be great, the next terrible, with most in between. Varying point of impact was my biggest issue though, as much as 6-8" from shot to shot. I want to like them sooooo bad, I just can't get past the inconsistency. I'll keep trying though, because they're cheap, and shooting is fun!
