At my camp, I had a local farmer spread bulk lime for me while he was liming his fields. Saved me a lot of work and was alot cheaper than buying bagged lime.

At my local hunting spot, I've bought bulk and spread by the shovel method. I load the lime into a cart behind my atv and drive around my food plots throwing lime everywhere. It's actually not that hard of work and the coverage is pretty good.

I did the same on my plot. Bought bulk lime from a farm supply store, put it on my trailer and then spread it by shovel onto my plot.

Did it with a front end loader a few years ago on a guys plot, and spread from both sides of the loader by shovel.

Flat shovels seem to work best, IMO.
