How do you guys remove the light coating of oil from the inside of your barrell? I put a skim coat to keep the rust at bay and I am wondering what to do now? I wont be out until at least the first sat so i have time to go to the range and 'shoot it out' if need be. Or is there another better way?

I dampen a patch with rubbing alcoh & run thru bbl then dry patch. Windex w/Vinegar(All Purpose) also nicely removes all oil/grease in bbl.

What he said. I started using them years ago. Also use them for field cleaning if I happen to need it.
