For the special regulations area (2B) tomorrow is the final day for the flintlock season. Do you need a special stamp to hunt with flintlock? On the licence it says antlered or flintlock license. And in the game regs it says:

"DEER, ANTLERED or ANTLERLESS FLINTLOCK (Statewide): One antlered or antlerless
deer with general license backtag and an additional antlerless deer with each required antlerless license."

Was thinking about going out tomorrow and didn't want to be hunting illegally. Thanks!

i understand that u can use flintlock without a muzzle tag in 2b because it is special regs and fits the possible choices of weapons however you can not shoot a buck without a muzzle tag. without a muzzle tag you are hunting the extended antlerless season and need a doe tag. if you have a muzzle its buck or doe and you can use your general "buck" tag as a doe tag same as anywhere in the state. Does that make sense?

If you have a muzzy license you can shoot a buck or doe with your general backtag!

Without a muzzy license you need a doe tag and can only harvest a doe!

You need a muzzy stamp.
To shoot a buck you need a unused back tag.
To shoot a doe you need a unused back tag OR a antlerless lic.
