Its been a long long time since Ive bought a set, Im looking at getting them for my trip out to Montana this fall, can anyone recommend any? something easy to put on in 2 feet of snow, and that stay on.

None are easy to put on in 2 feet of snow!!! But a trick we use is to nail two 2x10s about 24 inches long together. We cut a slope on one end. Then we cut slots into top board so the chains fit. We place behind tire and back onto.
As to what brand not sure I can tell the difference. But medium duty with real adjusters is key.

The hardware in Johnstown has pretty good chains....

It is the tirechains.com place. Make sure you get a set with cams, they are 1000 times better to put on than chains without them.

Do some checking to make sure you can use them on your vehicle. The newer Rams you can't use tire chains on due to clearance issues

Yep, thats a concern of mine, I have a leveling kit and oversized tires on my truck.
