If interested, please PM me. I will be having hip replacement surgery Monday. So, if I don't reply quickly, please be patient and I will reply ASAP!! Here's the description. Auction began at $4800. $50 discount to any HPA member who buys this gun.

This LC Smith Specialty Grade is such a gorgeous piece of art!! This classic shotgun comes with a rare 2 barrel set of 28" and 26" barrels with matching serial numbers. This is a perfectly balanced gun. The handling is very dynamic!! The wood has the original finish and has wonderfully shaped grain with what is either an ebony or buffalo horn inlay on the forend tip. The metalwork is masterfully done. The barrels are unblemished with bright, shiny bores and look to have ivory beads. The screws are flawless. The engraving is artfully done with quail (left side), duck (right side) and vine & leaf border. The barrels lock up tight on the receiver and are on face. The top lever is right of center. The barrels both ring true indicating solid rib attachment. Manufacturing records indicate this gun to be made in 1920. This gun has a Hunter One trigger and a Featherweight frame. I fired many rounds through this gun and it worked flawlessly. Both barrels have 2 3/4" chambers and there is 1 forend. The stock has the original hard butt plate, LOP is 14" to the single trigger in the middle position which equates to a 14 3/8" LOP to a front trigger. Drop @ comb is 1 1/2", drop @ heel is 2 3/8" and has a Prince of Wales pistol grip. The barrels are both fitted with ejectors and factory tapered chokes. The first barrel set is 28" with a field rib and weighs in at 50.3 ounces, with the left barrel .046 (F) and right barrel .006 (SK), both barrels have a nominal diameter of .730 (L) and .733 (R). The second barrel set is 26" and weighs in at 52.4 ounces with a raised vent rib, left barrel choked at .014 (LM) and the right barrel choked at .005 (SK) with nominal bore diameters of .728 (L) and .729 (R). The combined weight of the stock and forend is 60.4 ounces. Total weight with the 28" barrel attached is 6.92 lbs. Total weight with the 26" barrel attached is 7.05 pounds. This is a great barrel combo for upland game and sporting clays!! You can hunt grouse, woodcock, pheasant or quail in the morning, swap out barrels and shoot a round of clays in the afternoon!! Don't miss your chance to own a timeless piece of American gunmaking history!! Buyer pays shipping and insurance. If purchasing with a CC there will be a $10 fee added. Seller will only ship to an FFL. Buyer will provide an FFL for seller to ship to. Seller will not collect sales tax and will only ship to the continental USA.
