I drew a line from where we get the pics of him, way out in the bush, to the field that we see him in around midnight most nights. One our stands is relatively close to it. I put a cam there a week ago. He is on it!!! And, there are several pictures of him from 5:00pm through 8:00pm. DAYLIGHT!!!! Of course, the season doesn't open for another 5 weeks and a day....but, hopefully it's a path he uses regularly. Cam is back out there. Next week, I will move the camera that's way out in the bush to a spot between this stand and the fields.

I was thinking gross of 152 and maybe a net in the mid-140s?

His beams are nice too. The go up and out and the sweep forward and even curl in a little. My best is 120 inches so he would crush my personal best.

Super duper wow!

I think he is wider than you guys think. I am thinking 23 24 maybe, he will easily gross 150+. Easily too by the way.
Symmetrical, width, and tine length. Yup a fantastic example of AR.

Hope it all works out for ya...

I will be doing my best. Next I have been gradually moving cameras from where I usually get him to a field the deer visit at night. Working them closer to the field. Trying to figure out the path he takes. So far I am getting him at 3 places. Next weekend is a new cam pull and I will be adding a camera to a new location. Hopefully he stays regular through October.

We are in big woods country. No agriculture. A good 100,000 acres of continuous woods. For cover there is overgrown clear cuts, blueberry thickets, thick mountain laurel and some cliff and steep mountain sides. Interspersed there are a few hemlock swamps and some small clearings where there is just fern and blueberry. Close to the cabin there are two fields that we plant.

Tough getting any patterns on these deer and most times we have to be 30 yards from the deer to even see it.

Pops - I'm within an inch or two of all your measurements. I was coming up with 152 gross. He didn't even have G4s last year, he was an 8. I think he is 4.5 years old. If nobody gets him this year.....oh boy!!

here's what I'm coming up with:

Spread 23"
Beams 54"
G1 8"
G2 17"
G3 15"
G4 2"
Mass = 32"
Total 151"
I agree with this pops except for the main beams. 54 would be world class and most likely extent past his nose.
+1

GORGEOUS deer and one I'd tag in a second. But I give him 44"-46" on beams. His inside spread gives the illusion his beams are long but his huge tip-to-tip spread is what gives it away for me. The beams don't keep coming together making that world class length.

I'm in NO WAY tearing this deer down. He's a HORSE and has some years on him. Just think.he may come up a whisker shorter on the taps than what first impressions might suggest.

Best thing is to go shoot him and give us the REAL number !! Best of luck with him !!!!
