Headed out last night about 730 pm. First stop in southwestern Fayette. Light snow and wind. Still fighting off the bug, I took a coughing fit at 30 minute mark. Figured I blew it, so looked down at remote scanning calls and figured I would give a howl. Hit the button looked up, eyes about 100 yards. Knowing probably a fox raised gun to watch it turn and dash for cover. Ughhhh. I figured my cough blew it. Oh well.
Set2,3,4 heavier snow, winds light, nothing seen. I did hear a domestic dog in woods about 250 yards off barking from different locations. Only saw bedded deer.
Plans for the week unknown. But I know I gotta hunt.
