This year I have been very fortunate with the bow. I had the opportunity to take two does on the last Friday of both archery and rifle season. Both times it just so happened I took my bow. Both happened in the last hour of the day. I've never had much luck in the afternoon especially in archery season but it appears I may change my tune regarding afternoon hunts...

First doe was taken the last Friday of archery season in 2F in the afternoon.

The second doe this year was taken the last Friday afternoon of rifle season with the bow in 5B.

I've been very fortunate this year and am grateful for my success especially with the bow. This is the first year in 7 or 8 years where I was able to hang a tag on more than one deer and it is a year I will not forget for the snow, low temps, hunting camp and family.
