Kyle Kendrick won his first game since last August. You read that right, August of 2013 was his last victory.

The Phillies beat the Rockies 9-0 today. You read that right too. The Philadelphia Phillies scored 9 runs in a single game.

I just had to give credit where it is due.

That was good to see, Howard had a great night too!
If we could just run off 6 or 7 in a row...

If they win 6 in a row this season, I will be shocked. I hope they do, but I don't think it's possible.

Gotta start over MM. Phil's lose tonight to the Mets 4-1.

They struck out 15 times with Howard contributing 4 K's.

Phil's start another winning streak by besting the Mets in 14 innings last night 6-5. Their home record is 12-16.

Ryan Howard went 0-7 with 2 K's.

4 out of 5 to the Mets! Yikes!
I can't take much more of Revere and Brown.
Our outfield is brutal.

They will be lucky to win 70 games this year. Their young players aren't very good and their "stars" are aging by the day. I'm sad to say, I don't see the Phillies back on top for ten years. Maybe.

The Phillies have lost their 5th game in a row. On the bright side they weren't shut out.

They are on a pace to be shut out 23 times this year. 22 shutouts in a season is the team record. That occurred in 1969 and 1941.

Looks like they are going to run off 6 or 7 in a row.

One good thing about all this is next time I decide to go
to a game the traffic won't be so bad and the crab fry
line will be shorter!

Plenty of tickets will be available too. Also, people will be selling below face value just to get rid of them. One thing about going to the game is, no matter how bad the team, is the beer and hot dogs always taste good. Crab fries too.

They are getting harder to watch with each loss but I still tune in.

Nothing's gonna change for a long time, Ron. There is no help in the farm system and there isn't much in the way of free agents. They are gonna be bad for a long time.

It could be a lot worse guys. It could be the Pirates your talking about! You've had it nice for a lot of years.

Gotta give credit where it is due. The Phillies smoked the Reds last night 8-0. Cole Hamels pitched a great game and the Phil's hammered Reds ace Johnny Cueto.

It's only one game but it was nice to see them getting some hits and runs for Hamels.

Phil's are back on track. They dropped 2 of 3 to the Reds.

The Phils look ragged out there so I decided to give them a day off today.
At least they won't lose tonight.

Phillies won the first game of the battle for the worst team in the NL. They beat the Padres 5-2.

Papelbon recorded his 300th career save. Tied with Bruce Sutter.

That's the good news.. The bad news is the Phil's had the bases loaded with no outs in the 8th inning. They did not plate a run. Howard, Byrd and Dom Brown struck out in order. But, a win, is a win, is a win....
