To add to the tragedy, they just reported his 13 year old daughter died with him.

Very sad....I remember watching him in the pa state finals when they played again Cathedral Prep. ..the talk was he was going straight to NBA...and he did ..just a amazing guy

RIP Kobe, one of the greatest to ever play the game. Very few guys in the history of the NBA can come out of HS and play at that level he was a great one even though I am a Celtic fan i always respected his game and realized how good he was!

He played at Lower Merion High School from 1992 to 1996. His father, Joe Bryant, played for the 76ers in the ‘70’s.
