I'm looking to try Kaercher Creek Lake in Hamburg, Anyone fishing this spot ? We'll be trying from shore , Any recommendations ?

Lots of weeds...LOTS of weeds. I used to take my kids there for bluegills till the park closed. The far shore is brush lined, not sure if there are access trails or not. Near the parking lots, the water is very shallow and weedy.

I've seen carp and caught a few small-ish largemouths there.

Pretty much spot on there. I took the kids there about 2 weeks ago. They caught blue gills, black crappie, and 6-10" largemouth bass on trout magnets. That is when Dad wasn't taking weeds off the hook. Back in it's day the lake was known for having some big muskie in it. Who knows maybe there are a couple still swimming around in it. Best of luck to you if you decide to give it a go.
