Hey I was interested ,if there was a way, to judge their age. I know it may not be relevant to most trappers, but I would like to ballpark a critter. Like if it was say a one year old young one, compared to say 5 plus years old.
I don't get to see many so I don't have much to go off of. One born earlier in the year could be obvious, but I'm guessing after a year and fully grown, they would look pretty much the same size. It would just be nice to know if you out smarted an older wise one thats been around for awhile, compared to catching more immature ones.
Thanks for any input guys.
