Decided to make some jerky today and realized that flat jerky takes up much more space in the dehydrator than sticks.


Had to enlist the oven.....my question is, do you leave the oven door c escape....seems to me I read that somewhere....

It wouldnt have hurt to put half the strips back into the marinade and then dehydrate them after the first batch was done.
