They are definately very nice, but I saved a ton of money by buying a used Franchi AL 48. Its light, well made, and semi auto.
All in all I think that they are worth what they are asking. You can't really compare them to a mossberg or remington, although some will try, they are just finished to alot higher level. I just didn't want to spend that kind of money and I'm not that used to pump action since I've been using o/u's and semi auto for so long. They are especially nice in the higher grades.

I love them. That bright colored bead and the style of gun was pretty advanced for its time.
One thing about model 37's that I loved (its been 20 years) was that if you hold the trigger and keep working tha action, the gun goes off when the breech closes. I had a 12 ga that was [censored] for decoying birds.
It did kick like a mule though.
Great gun, especially in 28 ga. I'd take it out for ducks in a heart beat.
