That's how I have been unloading.... Then I just save those pellets and that slug for "fun at the range" day....

I had a cva eclipse back when they first came out:I would unscrew the breech plug to remove the load (JUST BE SURE IT IS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION)

Gents,

It is just plain unsafe. Any spark or static electricity could set that charge off and if you are doing it indoors then you may be putting someone else at risk. Unload with a CO2 discharger outdoors if you don't have a safe range or as others have said, flood the bore and pull the breech.

just plain unsafe? No, its not unsafe, thats why they call it a removable breech plug its there for that reason!

Remove the plug and push your pellets/projectile out.
