They are legal in Pa. I don't prefer illumination but do like Hawke crossbow scopes which are available in illuminated models.

Tru Glow makes a nice one.
My Carbon Express illuminated scope cracked
When my xbow tipped over.

While I was waiting for a new one from from CE,
I bought the Tru Glow & never took it off.

The CE illuminated scope is nice but made out of
Plastic.

For the money the Hawke Scopes are hard to beat.

My parker came with the hawke illuminated scope. Like someone said for the money its hard to beat. I like the scope you can adjust to brightness to low light in red or green. The issue i have is i forget to turn it off. I think it takes the 2032 battery. There were times it was on for a few days. Many times that is. The battery still keeps on lighting up the circles.

I have a Ten Point pro view older model 3 dots 20-30-40 I love it..

Hawke and Ten Point are both good. I like the older Hawke with Blue illumination. Hard to find now but they were excellent optics. If I had to give mine up I'd replace it with the Hawke SR.

I hunt a forested area. As it gets dark and the leaves are still on the trees the illuminated scope is an asset.

I have the Hawke with red and green reticles and I would recommend it.
