Can I purchase a licesnse as late as the last day of the season?

What season? I'm assuming you mean rifle(deer season). The answer would be yes if that's the case

You can coyote hunt until June 30th!

now that it is electronic, you can purchase it up to june 30th as Joe said. It use to be that the agents all either ran out of licenses or sent them back after winter. But you could even purchase one then, it was a matter of finding an unsold one.

I'm sure there's been more than one instance where an out-of-stater came in to visit relatives and bought a NR License to hunt Spring Gobbler the last week of May.

When I bought my license on line this year the first day they went on sale. I got a prompt to select the license year I wished to purchase 2009-2010 or 2010-2011. That was on June 15th
