I got this e-mail from HPA member Buckeroo (Doug) and he is asking for some help from his HPA brothern for his niece Sky. After a weekend full of hurt from watching the news, and with the upcoming holiday I just want to share what doug sent me for your consideration, all the information is there to make a difference even a little one. I understand this is on facebook as well, so I would hope that putting it on HPA would also make a significant difference. Prayers still work, (despite what some would have you believe), but medical bills don't take them.
The e-mail from Buckeroo:
If you have noticed, I have a lot of my Firearms as well as Hunting Gear for Sale on the FOrum as of late. This is due to my Niece being Diagnosed with cancer at the young age of only 14. She is only a freshman in High School and is very active in Track, Lacrosse as well as many other activities. Her mother( My sister Anna) lost her job recently as well and doesn't have any medical insurance at this time. I am not sure If there is anything that HPA can do for me and my family at this time but the whole story is below. Please If there is anything you can do at all, I would definately appreciate it. Thanks so much. Doug
Sky has been diagnosed with Primary Medialstinal B-Cell Lymphoma (Non-Hodgekins). She is being treated at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Children's Center in Baltimore, Maryland. My sister has not been working for a while and won't be working while she takes care of Sky. They need financial assistance to pay for medical expenses and basic day to day expenses. (They have no medical insurance - though have applied for medical assistance.)
IF YOU WANT TO DONATE go to paypal.com, sign into your account, choose the "Send Money" tab, and enter the email [email protected] [email protected], enter the amount, and send.
If you would rather send a check to their home,
Make checks out to:
Anna Boyle, her address is 145A Versailles Circle, Towson, MD 21204.
It would be wonderful to get some financial support so Anna will not have that added worry since she is unable to work for a while now.
Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes, we are applying for every resource out there.
