I was cleaning the bar getting ready for this evening and thought I'd share.

The base is 2 old barrels used to make hard cider.

Custom foot rail I pieced together.

Custom bar top I made. Wood from a small lumber guy in Williamsport.

Made these from old labels off ebay

My great grandfather and then his son ran the last operating cider mill in York County. I have never made but someday hope to make some hard cider and some apple jack. My dad has told me some stories of the " good stuff" they made.

Thanks guys. Old Grandad is a favorite. We need to give SP Boss a break - sometimes those turkeys have a way of getting by him. Not often but sometimes. I hope your doing good Lee - we'll catch up soon.

Thanks - many many coats of poly. So far it has held up great - 5 years.
